Python Developer resume example

For freshers applying to Python backend, automation or data engineering roles.

Keywords ATS look for

Python, Django, Flask, FastAPI, REST API, PostgreSQL, Pandas, Automation, Unit Testing, Git

Example bullet points

• Built a Django web app for hostel complaints with email alerts; resolved-complaint time fell by 40% in one semester.
• Wrote a Python script with Pandas that merges attendance sheets for 12 classes, saving faculty 5 hours a week.
• Exposed a FastAPI service with JWT login and 25 pytest tests, deployed on Render.
• Scraped and cleaned 20,000 product listings with BeautifulSoup for a price-comparison project.

Tips

• Say which framework you used (Django, Flask, FastAPI); “Python” alone is too broad.
• Automation scripts that saved time are strong fresher achievements; quantify the time.
• Add your GitHub link with pinned, documented repositories.
